DISAPPOINTMENT1. Words cannot describe how much I am disappointed at certain people in life now. Certain adults believe in pacifying us when we are around and going behind our backs and talking bad about us.
2. I find that a totally disgusting thing. Hypocrites and backstabbers are extremely annoying people in this world.
3. It is one thing when you say that we are bad, but its another thing when you backstab us and let someone else come back to us and tell us what happened.
4. Many people will agree with me if I say the school is screwed up. Yes, it is so screwed up nowadays that the only fun thing left is our friends. The school is like this bloodsucker or kill joy which sucks all our happiness out.
5. Back to the topic in hand. Backstabbing is the most vile thing on Earth. Hypocrites are the worst people on Earth. The betrayal of trust is totally uncalled for and unwarranted.
6. Now, let us talk about the Pink Book. The most holiest book ever.
7. I find the rampant writing in the Pink Book totally unwarranted. Even the most minor infractions have to be jotted down with condescending remarks. Who gives a damn whether you bring your book or not?
8. Its the fellow's fault for forgetting to bring his/her book. Absolutely nothing to do with the teacher. Well, its just too bad that he/she refuses to learn, what can you do to him? What does writing in the pink book lead to?
9. Maybe a trip to Mrs Shan's office with parents. Well, what can the parents say when you actually FORGET your books. Nothing can be done! Parents can't follow us around forever. Sooner or later, the students will have to be responsible for their own books and writing their names in the pink book will not encourage responsibility.
10. The Pink Book is a vile object that wastes time and should be burnt in hell. All the nonsense written so far this term are of no use at all. Teachers are just writing for the sake of it. I mean, if its something like fighting, well, then by all means write all you want.
11. However, not bringing your book is a minor infraction and the students do not deserve to have their names rudely written in the Pink Book like some kind of lasting record of your behaviour in high school.
12. Guess what, nobody is gonna care about whether or not you brought your book to school in 20 years time. Heck, nobody even cares about your high school exam results. They only care about how you present yourself at that time and your university degree.
13. The Pink Book is useless. Other than being a permanent record of wrongdoings, it serves no purpose whatsoever and the system should be totally abolished.
14. Teachers should come up with something better to encourage students to be more responsible. The Pink Book system will NOT work.
15. Now let me touch on the disciplinary problems rumored to have caused our change of class teachers. Well, I have one solution for all the so called "DISCIPLINARY PROBLEMS".
16. Instead of switching class teachers, I suggest that Mrs Shan comes and sit in our class every lesson and I can bet that everyone will be dead silent.
17. But is that what the school wants? DEAD SILENCE? Is that what our education system is preaching?
18. The reason alot of people are switching over to the International Stream is because the system encourages more group work and more communication.
19. Well, I don't know how in the name of god, groupwork or communication can be carried out in dead silence.
20. Maybe the school will start inventing mind beamers that allows us to beam ideas into each other's heads just by utilising our Will.
