This may sound extremely out of sync with the current examination stress, but tonight, I decided to go to MPH after having dinner with my family at that new Japanese restaurant near Kizuna again.
I bought 3 books which cost 141 bucks. My mum used her credit card and I paid her 100 bucks back. She subsidised approx. 33% of the total amount. Good thing I guess...
Anyway, those 3 books were not some silly lame story book, coughtwilightcough, its about serious stuff.
1. War and Decision, by Douglas J Feith, Former UnderSecretary of Defense for Policy of US under the Bush Administration. The book is endorsed by James Schlesinger and Henry A. Kissinger.
The Former Pentagon Policy Chief put readers in the room with Pres. Bush, VP Cheney, Donald Rumsfield, COlin Powell, Condi Rice and others as they considered how to prevent another 9/11. Drawing on thousands of previously undisclosed written sources, Feith offers the first inside view of these events as they unfolded.
He aims to provide a detailed insight objectively and apparently according to the book, things did not happen as widely known. Bush and Co. weighed everything seriously before invading Afghanisatan.
If I find that it actually proves that Bush and Co. were right in the beginning after reading it, I will recommend it to Mr Raj.
2. Presidential Courage- Brave Leaders and How They Changed USA 1789-1989. By Michael Beschloss
3. The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud By Julia Navarro. APparently its some novel about some holy christian relic that involves the KNights Templar. IMO, Anything about the Knights Templar is worth reading.
There, I will have plenty in hand to read after the exams or maybe DURING the exams. Obviously, I do not have the mood to study now and will probably do badly in the coming exams.
