The 10 month old Pakatan Rakyat Perak State Government has collapsed under the defections of 4 assemblymen and women.

The recently defected Bota Assemblyman has REDEFECTED and returned to UMNO while the 2 PKR State Excos who were embroiled in a corruption case has also resigned and defected to BN. Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker, the Assemblywoman of Jelapang has betrayed DAP by resigning and jumping over to MCA.

I am so disgusted at the rampant defection and the apparent attempt of Perak BN, lead under Najib to assume power by hook or by crook. I am quite sure they either offered gigantic amounts of money to the few assemblymen/women or threaten the safety of their family members...

Our MB, Nizar has informed the Perak Sultan and requested for a dissolution of the state assembly so that fresh statewide elections can be held. If the Sultan is genuinely fair and caring of the people's wishes, he should grant the MB's request and let both coalitions pit against each other on fair ground in an election.

On the other hand if His Majesty refuses to grant the said dissolution, BN will assume power shamelessly and we will be forced to return to the days of stagnantation Perak has suffered under BN.

In many people's opinions, the current State Government has been doing their job very well over the past 10 months and they are definitely better than the BN administration over the past 50 years.

If His Royal Majesty grants the MB's request, I am quite sure DAP, PKR and PAS will win big, after all, us Perakians saw first hand how good they are at governing the state compared to the BN coalition...
