After the recent Facebook fiasco, my opinion of certain people definitely changed alot and my perception of mankind as a race has shifted into a whole new realm.

I find that I can absolutely trust NO ONE in school cuz the most trusted can betray you one day. What can go wrong, will go wrong. Mankind is a very selfish race. We are still controlled by meagre interests and the whole materialistic notion of "More is Good".

Seriously, people are willing to discard their moral values aside to succeed at all costs and most of the richest and most successful men in the world are sly foxes. Those people who are genuinely kind and good will never seem to succeed in this cruel world because they simply do not have the heart to betray their friends and engage in unfair tactics.

In Malaysia, we are required to study a subject called MOral Education from Primary 1 to Secondary 5. The most ironic part is the very people who teach us Moral Ed have broken half the moral values they are trying to teach.

I noticed that, as I grew from a kid to a teenager, many people are hypocrits. Teachers preach moral values in front of you and does the exact opposite behind your back. People saying how good looking you are and saying how ugly you look behind your back.

Mankind seem to accept such behavior and indeed, people who knows how to put on a facade of emotion seem to always win. Why are they always winning even when they are deceiving people under their noses and backstabbing them? Its darn unfair, I tell you.

As long as petty interests such as materialistic items remain as the main thing these humans are living for, mankind will forever retard and degrade morally and socially. There's no longer any reason to be honest and good since the good guys never win in real life.

Corruption, cronyism and nepotism, all these are Mankind's weaknesses. Until a solution is found to prevent all the above, mankind will never be able to become a universal power. The notion of "EVery man for himself" is so ingrained into our brains through daily observation of how adults live their lives, there's simply no cure for mankind.
