Hmm, the interact club will be having their elections this friday.
It's gonna be very interesting though since after Vhysh and her batch leaves, there's only 3 seniors left. Elaine, HZ and myself.
The original plan was to make me President, but well, since I was elected already to be the President of the Council, I highly doubt that I can manage such a tedious and demanding job.
For everyone's information, the presidency of the interact club is even more difficult than my current job. Whoever's lucky or rather UNlucky enough to be elected will nt only have to satisfy the students and the teachers and the school. He/She will also have to satisfy the Rotary Club, which is no easy task.
Whoever's elected will have to give spontaneous speeches at events as Mrs Chandra(rotarian advisor) enjoys asking the President to do that. The President also have to submit accounts and write all sorts of letters to all sorts of people.
Its a very very difficult job and I won't be surprised that the Interact Club will be dibubarkan after Vhysh's batch leave.
Kshitij seems to be interested as well in the position. However, I highly doubt that he will be able to continue on the good work. Hui Zen as well, has thrown his hat into the ring. We're in for one hell of a ride on Friday.
It also seems that who I am voting for has churned up quite some interest. Some people have been asking me who to vote for on Friday and has indicated that they will vote whoever the person I vote for. I am still kinda split and I may go for abstention instead for a fair fight to ensue.
Of course, if worse comes to worse, I'll probably have to take on vice presidentship or any other exco position to help out. I guess.
Although I hope the club won't collapse, but something tells me that the club will go pochi. What a terrible terrible thing. I really hope it doesn't go to THAT extent. Even Vhysh seems to think along the same line as I do.
I really hope our worst fears DO NOT come true.
